PAEDIATRICIAN

Lakeridge Health is expanding its Paediatric Hospitalist and Subspecialty (Endocrine/Respirology/Allergy Immunology/Neurology) Care program. We are currently recruiting two 0.5 FTE Pediatricians who are interested in exploring the opportunity of being part of our model of care. Working collaboratively in the best interest of the patient, successful candidates will take an active role in advancing pediatric services at Lakeridge Health, the advancement of the academic agenda, and the full integration of the pediatricians with the interdisciplinary care team through education and best practices.  They will participate in the pediatric medical trainee program; supervising and teaching residents, clinical clerks and other interprofessional learners from Queen’s University, the University of Toronto and other academic partners. Application for a faculty appointment at our affiliated Schools of Medicine will be encouraged and facilitated.

The successful applicants must be eligible for licensure in Ontario and be experienced pediatricians who hold RCPSC (or equivalent) certification in Paediatrics with competency in Neonatology, managing cases in a Level ll NICU as well as stabilizing Level lll patients.
