Position – The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Authority seeks a Pediatric Gastroenterologist for a full-time clinical and academic position.

The GI Division is a multidisciplinary team environment and actively participates in developing and guiding strategies for improving the health and care of Saskatchewan children. Research collaboration in inflammatory bowel disease and intestinal failure networks provide opportunities for participation in and initiation of multicenter studies. The division is active in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as continuing medical education. The successful candidate will become a member of the Department of Pediatrics and have appointments in both the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Appointment with the University of Saskatchewan will be at the assistant, associate or full professor level commensurate on the candidate’s qualifications. The position is a 1.0 FTE, 0.8 clinical and 0.2 academic with additional call coverage.

Compensation – Annual contract value $391,474.00 - $446,661.00

Location of practice – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada

Qualifications – Candidates require an MD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university with fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology, and clinical procedural skills to support both outpatient and inpatient consultative services. Candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
