Radiologist

RADIOLOGIST

A diagnostic radiologist is required to join a group of 7 radiologists located at the Dartmouth General Hospital site of the Central Zone of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.  This position is to replace a retiring radiologist. The candidate will be an FRCPC or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiology and be eligible for a full license in Nova Scotia.  Preference will go to individuals with fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology.

The Dartmouth General Hospital site is a general hospital serving the inpatient and outpatient needs of the Halifax Regional Municipality.  It is home to the one of the busiest emergency departments in Nova Scotia.  An ongoing expansion will result in an increase in operating room capacity with a major focus on orthopedic surgery and will increase inpatient hospital beds to 174. The imaging department is also undergoing a major renovation which will be completed at the end of 2020.

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, in accordance with Canadian immigration requirements, Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada will be given priority.
