Facility Details — Cariboo Memorial Hospital:
Cariboo Memorial Hospital is a 31-bed hospital offering emergency, an intensive care unit, operating rooms, medical-surgical and obstetrical units, and ambulatory care services. Other services at the hospital include stress testing, lab and diagnostic imaging (including echo and CT scanning), out-patient hemodialysis and a five-bed psychiatric crisis stabilization unit. There is 24-hour general surgery and obstetrical specialist coverage, full-time radiology, and a pediatric specialist. There are also visiting ophthalmology, rheumatology and psychiatry specialists.
Full time rural Family Physician opportunity available in the Cariboo-Chilcotin region of Beautiful BC! Come practice rural family medicine in a small, well established, collegial clinic along side an experienced family physician and a young recent Canadian medical grad. Both family physicians have strong ties to the area and would be excited to share their knowledge with you. In addition to clinical work, there are opportunities to practice GP ER, GP OBS, and other areas of interest. There is great support from the local surgeons, obstetricians, paediatrician, internist, and psychiatrist. There are multiple call groups available for admitted patients as well as OBS (if interested). Start date is flexible.
