Obstetrician Gynecologist

OBSTETRICIAN/GYNECOLOGIST

Winnipeg. The Manitoba Clinic and Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, is seeking a qualified obstetrician/gynecologist to join our team. The Manitoba Clinic is a private practice group. The successful candidate will work in clinic, the labor floor, and the gynecologic OR. The call rota is 1:10. Gynecologic surgical time will initially be limited to scramble slates, with the expectation of receiving a regular slate in future. It is expected that the successful candidate will participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, both didactic and clinical. The candidate will be active in hospital and university administration.

Qualifications: Fellow, Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Registration (or eligible) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Must be able to secure hospital privileges within Manitoba Shared Health. Must obtain a University of Manitoba teaching appointment. The successful applicant will need to be approved by the University of Manitoba, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences and will need to present departmental rounds in order to finalize recruitment. Further consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in chronic pelvic pain, sexual health, education, research, and addictions medicine.
