FHO Family Physician - Cambridge, ON

We are a team of healthcare professionals who are looking to looking to expand our team and develop a Family Health Organization (FHO) practice model.

Our goal is to deliver exceptional clinical practice, quality healthcare and excellent patient service experience to our community. Our clinic offers onsite and virtual healthcare.

With growing patient demand, we are looking for 3 family physicians who are interested in partnering with us and joining our team.

Main accountabilities of the physician role:

• Care for patients onsite and virtually
• Provide screening and primary care health services for patients
• Examine patients, take their complete history and provide clinical guidance and recommendations
• Evaluate the patients’ health, make diagnosis on clinical conditions, prescribe and administer medications, treatments and follow up care with internal or external specialists through expedited referral/same day test results
• Educate and advise patients on preventive health care and disease prevention
• Provide counseling and support to patients on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
• Follow procedures for all documentation, timelines, coordination with internal follow up care teams
• Adhere to standards of best practice

Preferred Requirements:

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Valid CMPA insurance
• Exceptional and demonstrable interpersonal skills
• Exemplary team player
• Knowledge and use of EMR systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word and Outlook

Compensation: OHIP direct billing with competitive split

This is a part-time position. Physician candidates must be able to offer a minimum of 2 full days (9am-5pm) a week at our clinic in Cambridge, ON.
