General Internal Medicine Specialist

Cardio Connect is seeking a full time General Internal Medicine Specialist, with special interest in Cardiology to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique setting and practice medicine with lots of support. Cardio Connect’s growing network has a roster of over 45,000 clients with Internal Medicine and cardiac related conditions. Physician Services consist of a full out-patient consultative service including Holter monitoring, ECGs and loop recording service, heart function clinic, exercise stress testing, Ulmonary Function Test, support for Echocardiography, nuclear medicine, cardiac CT, MRI, and Angiography.

 You will provide consultations, supervise medical testing, and clinical leadership in the fields of Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

You can learn and keep your skills updated and to grow within our network, potentially achieving partial ownership.

Qualifications:

  • Fellowship, Royal College Physicians and Surgeons Canada (RCPSC)
  • Licensure, College Physicians and Surgeons Alberta (CPSA)
  • Membership, Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • ACLS, BLS

Responsibilities:

Consultation and interpretation of tests in the field of community-based Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Communicating with referring physicians and team members.

Flexible 40 hours/ week work schedule.
