Fulltime/Long Term Locum Radiologist

Absolute Radiology are seeking the services of a permanent/long term Locum Radiologist to join our fabulous team.  Desirable skills include musculoskeletal MRI; general x-ray; vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound and general interventional skills (injections, biopsies etc).

You would be working alongside 2 on site Radiologists and 4 other remote Radiologists. Our equipment includes:

• Siemens Go Top CT with 128 slice scanning capable of CTCA, CT colonography, CT angiography, CT guided spinal injections and general CT.
• 2 Ultrasound rooms with Siemens Sequoia machines. One of the rooms doubles up as our ultrasound guided interventional room, where we perform biopsies and joint injections, drainages, and aspirations etc.
• Magnetom Altea 1.5T MRI scanner with a heavy MSK workload, body MRI, neuro MRI and cardiac MRI.
• Siemens Multix Fusion General Xray Room
• Hologic DEXA machine for BMD and body composition scans.

You would join a team of around 20 staff including sonographers, MRI and CT technologists, general x-ray technologists, a registered nurse and administration staff.

Absolute Radiology is contracted to do some work for the local public hospital, and there will be there will be scope to assist with some work and attend MDM meetings as required.

All modalities are digital with voice recognition reporting. We have Comrad and Intelerad RIS and PACS.
