Lakeridge Health is currently inviting applications for full and part-time Emergency Medicine Physicians to join a congenial team in our Bowmanville, Oshawa and Port Perry hospitals. Physicians enjoy flexible scheduling and extensive specialty and subspecialty consultation services.  These emergency departments range in volume from a small community ED, to a moderate sized ED, to a large, very high volume urban ED. There is a dedicated ED education team providing ongoing quality Continuing Medical Education. Remuneration is fee-for-service (Oshawa) and AFA (Bowmanville and Port Perry).

You will have teaching opportunities through the Lakeridge Health partnership with Queen’s University. Lakeridge Health offers many administrative options for those interested in pursuing physician leadership positions.

The candidate will have certification in Emergency Medicine or significant experience appropriate to the ED and must hold an independent practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario   The position start date is negotiable, however Fall 2021 is preferred.
