Reporting jointly to the Vice President Medical Affairs, Academics & Research and to the Vice President, Digital Strategy and Transformation, the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) will be a central role in leading the practice of Medical Informatics at William Osler Health System (WOHS).  With a system-wide, holistic approach, the CMIO will help develop and communicate a vision for systems that will serve Osler’s patients and staff in the delivery of care, empowering staff and clients alike and building excitement for a large-scale transformation.  They will play a leading role in the implementation of a new Hospital Information System, and will explore the impacts that AI, big data, and virtual care can have on the patient experience and clinical decision making. 

As the ideal candidate, you bring a designation in good standing with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and relevant field experience in healthcare and technology. You have a proven track record of being skilled in diagnosing and solving complex clinical process problems through innovative and creative systems solutions and providing detailed analysis. You are a strong communicator and collaborative leader and understand how to successfully navigate challenging projects while keeping stakeholders fully engaged and apprised of challenges and obstacles.
