We are excited to offer practice opportunities in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville (LHB), a smaller community hospital which as a sizeable and exciting expansion planned in the near future.  LHB has access to broad medical, critical care and surgical subspecialty supports. You will be part of a collegial group that provides consultations to the ER and manages a 10-15 bed medical/telemetry ward.  To broaden your clinical work, you will also work across sites at Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering (LHAP) and Lakeridge Health Oshawa (LHO).  To further diversify your practice, you may consider joining one of the nearby well-established, non- hospital-affiliated clinics.

You will have teaching opportunities through the Lakeridge Health partnership with Queen’s University. Lakeridge Health offers many administrative options for those interested in pursuing physician leadership positions.

The candidate will have ACLS and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in General Internal Medicine (or equivalent) and must hold independent practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.   The position start date is negotiable, however Fall 2021 is preferred.
