Healthy Essentials Clinic (HEC) is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join our integrated care model; the next level of person and family centred healthcare.

Find peace of mind knowing your patients have access to a multitude of services including psychiatry, clinical counselling, registered dietitians, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, body movement and massage therapy in the comfort of one clinic. Our highway access location in the Winfield Office Building is situated in the city centre of Lake Country, BC. Making transportation from Kelowna and Vernon easy and safe for clients of all ages. Particularly, the easy elevator access, ample free parking, and the community ambiance of Lake Country.

We offer flexible working hours that can be set to accommodate your own work/life balance. You will have the ability for a shared or sole practice. Weekend or evening commitments are optional. This allows for time to enjoy the beautiful Okanagan Valley.

Healthy Essentials Clinic is for people struggling with mental health and healthcare issues who need quality integrated care from multiple practitioners. Research illustrates that 45% of general practitioner time is spent on treating mental health issues. HEC is designed to come alongside physicians to meet the gaps in healthcare. We provide timely access to individual and family needs through structured programs for the mild, moderate or acute need.

Healthy Essentials Clinic offers an innovative and research informed primary care plus treatment model focused on prevention and early intervention. Our family-centered program helps to ease the burden on the healthcare system and improve patient outcomes. The basic elements of our streamlined program are:

  • Structured mild, moderate, and acute outpatient programs designed to provide individualized care

Healthy Essentials Clinic newly designed office space has private rooms to accommodate the needs of clinicians and clients. Furthermore, we work to keep overhead expenses in check, as we take the statistics on burnout for healthcare professionals very seriously.

Qualifications: Doctorate in Medicine; Full licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia; CCFP, Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory.
