Prince Albert is located over the geographic centre of Saskatchewan. It is the largest centre in the region, regarded as Saskatchewan Gateway to the North with a population of 45,000. The Victoria Hospital is a regional hospital with 164 acute care beds which includes an 8 bed intensive care unit that provides services to a population of 80,000 including northern and northeastern Saskatchewan. There is approximately 1,600 births at the Victoria Hospital per year as well.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking an Anesthesiologist for the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert.

Scope of Practice: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Urology, ENT, Pediatric, Colonoscopy Suite, Pre-Anaesthetic Clinic

Supporting department: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Radiologists.

This is a Permanent Opportunity to begin as soon as possible.

Payment

Daily Guarantee of $1,758.00

Job Benefits

$8,000.00 relocation allowance for a 2 year Return of Service.

Relocation Package

Vehicle and Housing assistance is available.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications: candidates must have Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada specialty certification or have Royal College eligibility. Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan is a prerequisite.
